Presbyopia is long-sightedness caused by loss of elasticity of the lens of the eye. A Pterygium is a triangular growth of abnormal tissue that invades the cornea.

Macular Degeneration is the leading cause of severe vision loss in people over age 60. It occurs when the small central portion of the retina, known as the macula, deteriorates. Can be treated with laser surgery.
